On the nose you'll find a pleasant molasses aroma coupled with some fruit-think ripe cherries and apples. Some oak notes are also found, but in more of a supporting role. The rum is rather elegant on the palate and is neither drying or oily. It's modestly sweet and has a nice tang to it which helps to balance the flavours. The finish also shows more influence of the oak offering up a bittersweet finish.

Some aging occurs in used Islay whiskey casks. Notes of dried fruit and a delicate smokiness on the nose; on the palate intense smoky flavour with a gentle sweetness and cocoa/dark chocolate flavours, followed by a lingering dry spiciness.

This is a blend of aged spirits, which have been finished in Cognac casks. Chocolate and fruit aromas and flavours.

Aromas of blackstrap molasses, hints of coffee, celery, allspice, hazelnut, and toffee with a subtle layer of ripe pineapple. On the palate, buttery upon entry and followed by sweet sugar cane, caramel, tobacco, leather, honey, dark chocolate with elements of raisin and fig. The finish has a decadent dark chocolate character with brown sugar and smokiness with underlying oak notes.
