Dry and full bodied, the palate is very intense and well extracted, with great tension between acidity and richness on the attack and in the middle. This Pessac-Leognan blend is comprised of 53% Sauvignon Blanc and 47% Semillon. Maturation occurred in stainless steel vats (30%) and oak barrel (30% new oak barrel on the lees for 9 months. Our full and elegantly textured Chardonnay has decadent levels of butter, cream, bright citrus and vanilla. These layers melt into a balance of oak and subtle spice.

Harvest occurs early in the morning and the fruit is then immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel cuves. A low temperature is kept while the wine is raised on fine lees in the cuve for eleven months and then bottled in September. The honey & white acacia blossom perfume is a rare treat.
