The agaves used to produce it are harvested in full maturity and come from a single crop field. The tequila is first aged in French and American oak barrels. It is then blended with those tequilas to be found in the legendary demijohns of the cellar. Finally it is aged for another year in sherry barrels brought from Spain.

Komos Añejo Cristalino is aged for a minimum of one year in French oak white wine barrels, then dripped through activated charcoal to refine and remove impurities, resulting in a crystal-clear, perfectly smooth tequila. This expression is made using perfectly ripe 100% Blue Weber Agave, hand-harvested from the distinct terroirs of both the highlands and lowlands of the Tequila Valley in Jalisco. The piñas are roasted in traditional stone ovens, and the aguamiel is naturally fermented and twice distilled in copper pot stills. After aging in the finest barrels, the final touch is gentle aeration which is the winemaking technique of tumbling the liquid to take on oxygen to make the mouthfeel softer and smoother, while adding a richness and roundness. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus zest, white florals and vanillas. Pineapple, miso, stone fruit and lime on the palate with a delicate sweetness in the finish.

Padre Azul Anejo Tequila is matured in hand-selected oak bourbon barrels for at least 18 months. The additional oak influence gives this premium tequila complex flavours such as cinnamon, chocolate and caramelized nuts. Aromas of coffee, burnt caramel, vanilla and caramelized nuts give way to sweet hints of dried fruits such as dried cherry and apricot, along with sweet agave.
