To the eye a burished chestnut colour. On the nose, notes of Freesia, dried geranium and lilies merge with the aromas of citrus fruits, followed by the sweeter notes of acacia honey, apple pie, vanilla pods and cream. The complex palate iniatially starts dry with floral notes, like carnations then developing into sweeter notes of lemon merigue, grilled almonds and light crème caramel fudge with a hint of pepper, nutmeg, oak and light coconut. The finish is long with subtle floral notes and malty flavours.

Aromatic with notes of ripe apricot, charred pineapple, mango and butterscotch. Very flavourful with intense tropical fruits with a subtle sweetness and warm peat smoke.

Burnished gold colour with aromas of ripe papaya, caramelized mango and molasses. On the palate a bounty of tropical fruits with drizzling honey and warm Islay peat smoke.

Deep rich mahogany colour. Aromas of honey, treacle and exotic fruits, combined with polish, beeswax and caramel. Flavours include: pipe tobacco, toffee, chocolate, spices, leather, chestnuts and pralines. Long luxurious finish.

Deep Mahogany colour. Papaya, passion fruit, cocoa and butterscotch on the nose. Flavours include: cocoa, tobacco leaves, walnut cake, butterscotch and subtle Islay peat smoke. Long, rich and luxurious finish.

Auburn colour. On the nose, fruity cooked plums and prune jam. Corinth raisons and sultana notes with a strong Oloroso influence. Toffee and maple syrup, licorice, grilled orange peel and smoked seaweed. The taste profile reveals chestnus honey, strong bee's wax, fresh leather and cigar tobacco, roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate with a hint of oak tannins.

Aromas of sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, orange marmalade, Christmas spices, cherry blossom, maraschino cherries and liquorice. On the palate warm pear, fruitcake, cocoa, and a sprinkling of sea salt.

Aged 29 years. Orange barley sugars, ginger nut biscuits and lemon meringue pie are followed by sweet apricot jam and marzipan. The toasted oak brings smooth chocolate and vanilla notes. Beautifully complemented with syrupy fruit, raisins, plum and melon. Over time, iodine and a hint of coconut come through, with a delicate oak spices of warming ginger and cinnamon. A velvet texture, the depth and balance of this single malt glides across the palate.

A deep gold colour with the delicate, light and balanced nose of a very old grain, then a rich texture, voluptuous mouthfeel and a big, soft, sweet, then gently spicy taste. Long finish.

Rich, bronze colour. A complex nose with substantial oakiness matched by fruit and luscious sherry notes. The taste profile reveals wood influence as well as floral sweetness. The finish is long.

On the nose, astonishingly perfumed and filled with fruity complexity. Soft notes of rose, jasmine and carnation blend with ripe, red fruits, mint toffee and cake mix. Spicy notes on the palate with additional hints of soft, red fruits, pineapple, pear, oranges, ginger and sweet chili.

Rich, amber colour. Delicate and spicy with rich, ripe fruity aromas. Flavourful with hints of smooth toffee and ginger.

This is the second release of the Bootleg Series by Heaven's Door. It is named after Bob Dylan's famous “Bootleg Series” of albums and it invites people to experience the art of craft whiskey on a new level. This 15 YO Straight Bourbon Whiskey has been finished in Jamaican pot still rum casks. On the nose: cornbread, cocoa nibs, tobacco leaf, and an abundance of maple syrup. The palate delivers dried apricot, and sandalwood, with a nutty richness and a finish of toasted coconut, holiday spice, and toasted oak.

An ultra-aged tequila, 100% from blue agave, created from a perfect selection of raw material to commemorate the tradition and history of Jose Cuervo. The agaves used to produce it are harvested in full maturity and come from a single crop field. The tequila is first aged in French and American oak barrels. It is then blended with those tequilas to be found in the legendary demijohns of the cellar. Finally it is aged for another year in sherry barrels brought from Spain.

This limited edition series celebrates the legacy of one man, the last of the Johnston family to own and manage the Laphroaig distillery, Ian Hunter. Aging for 30 years in Spanish Oak Oloroso Sherry cask developed aromas of dried dates and figs, cigar box, toffee, dark chocolate, pink peppercorns, all spice and some medicinal notes. Honey and sweet smoked stone fruit also unfurl on the palate. A very complex whisky.

The colour is deep gold. The nose is complex; smoky and herbal, with notes of Amsterdamer pipe tobacco, Eucalyptus, mint, fresh hay, a hint of jasmine but also autumn leaves and dry flowers along with sweet notes of vanilla, maple syrup, toffee, candy sugar, honey and black pepper. The palate; peaty and sweet, barbecued honey glazed gammon with sweet spicy marinade together with citric and fruity notes of lemon and lychee, a touch of iodine, cedar wood and earthy floral notes, bonbon and toffee sweetness. The finish; floral and ashy with wood smoke lingering.

This 34-year-old Laphriaog Single Malt is the fourth in our exclusive series commemorating Ian Hunter. Maturation occured in American White Oak Bourbon barrels with finishing in first-fill European Oak Oloroso Sherry casks. This non-chill filtered whisky has notes of honey, black pepper, and of course peat.

Deep copper colour. Notes of light peat with iodine and burnt wood. On the palate floral green malt, sweet candyfloss, vanilla fudge, nimble fruit accents of blueberry and raspberry are followed by salted caramel, butterscotch, roasted chestnuts, peach, dried flowers and white pepper.
