The Walking Fool is a lush, Zinfandel based blend. A silky scarlet red with luminous highlights, this wine opens with a lean earthiness the scent of rustic wood mixes with sweet spice, a whiff of cigar box, dusty pavement and old leather, infused with garden ripe strawberries and cherries. The palate is smooth and lively, featuring flavours of juicy raspberry, the subtle tartness of cranberry, and notes of espresso and smoked meat. Underlying acidity makes this wine mouth-watering, while its tannins lend a gritty yet softly fine texture. On the finish: a trace of vibrant cranberry, luxurious cocoa and an extra kick of spice.

Suisun (su-soon) Valley is known for delicious stone fruits and walnuts; increasingly it is also gaining recognition for its wine. Durif is synonymous with Petite Sirah, the widely grown grape in the region. We added Grand to the name of our Suisun-grown Durif because it has a grand style. The 2016 vintage shows aromas of dark plums,  baked blueberries, scents of lavender, white rose petals, sweet smoke and brown spice.  On the palate, lush tannins in balance with dark berry cobbler and cocoa.

Regal red in colour. Plush and evocative on the nose with aromas of beef - ribs cooked over an open fire with notes of potpourri and dark plum. This wine is a striking combination, highly structured yet featuring extravagant flavours of dark fruit.

The warmth of vanilla and brown spice aromas in this classic Sonoma County Chardonnay are lightened with notes of creamy lemon and sweet pear. A palate of soft fruit, including apple and pineapple flavours and notes of toasted hazelnut, finish with a bright acidity, taking the rich mouthfeel to a long, satisfying finish.

Lifted aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and vanilla are accompanied by vibrant, dark berry fruits on the palate. The finish is long with fine-grained tannins from sixteen months maturation in a combination of new and older French oak hogsheads. Although drinking well now this wine may be cellared for up to ten years from vintage.

Opaque purple core with bright reddish purple rim. Syrupy nose, with lots of vanilla, and ripe dark fruit, and some cedar coming in from behind. After a while, I noted some nutmeg aroma. This wine was medium bodied, dry, with supple tannins and silky smooth mouth feel. Dark plum, ripe dark fruit and chocolate with a slightly puckering finish. Medium plus length.

The dark, rich core of the 2015 Continuum has aromas of cacao, black currant, cardamom and savoury wild herb. On the palate it is layered and supple, revealing black cherry and roast espresso notes intertwined with mountain minerals and a hint of tangy orange spice. The wine is lush with ripe chocolatey tannins that lead to a long, expressive finish. 2015, though small in volume, is a mighty vintage for Continuum; one to savour today or age and appreciate for decades to come.

Conundrum Red Blend has a nose that is almost floral, with tones of lavender, dried berries, baking chocolate, bacon bits. Aromas are rich, velvety and wonderfully appealing. Silky round entry with acid to balance and high fruit concentration. The nose leaves no doubt about the seriousness of this wine. The palate is fruit driven both before and after the high tannin middle core. The finish is long, not drying of tannin, and beckons a second sip.

Explore this puzzling wine as rich aromas of honeysuckle escape from the glass, followed by hints of peach, vanilla and citrus notes. Black Forest is a dark, decadent red blend from Cupcake Vineyards. Rich flavours of blackberry and dark cherry with hints of mocha and spice, this wine has a silky, luxurious finish.

Our full and elegantly textured Chardonnay has decadent levels of butter, cream, bright citrus and vanilla. These layers melt into a balance of oak and subtle spice.

Flavours of pineapple and ripe pear. A portion of the wine was aged in oak to impart subtle notes of toasted oak and vanilla.

Red Velvet is a blend of classic red varietals with Zinfandel as a base. Subtle subtle aromas and flavours of chocolate with mocha notes, red and blackberry fruits and a hint of coconut.

Earthy notes combined with dark fruits, fennel and baking spice. Notes of sweeter berry fruit laced with more of those soily, forest floor notes. The palate is dense and concentrated with a plethora of fruit characters, plum, blackberry, mulberry, earth, iodine and black olive. Textural tannins that seem to persist in the mouth forever.

Exuberant, deep purple hue. Opulently flavoured and perfumed with firm texture and ripe tannins. Viognier lifts the rich, ripe Shiraz fruits and gives them resonance.

This GSM is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. Purple violet in colour with aromas of: aniseed, licorice, dark chocolate, mocha powder, freshly ground black pepper, bay leaf, nutmeg and vanilla. Clean, clear, long and brightly flavoured and textured. On the palate dark berry fruit, powdery earthiness, balanced acidity and ripe tannins.

Light straw colour. Aroma of citrus and jasmine. Lively flavour with light, fresh acidity along with nectarine and lychee notes.

Medium tawny. Lifted aromas of ripe dark fruit and nuts with barrel aged characters. Wonderfully integrated fruit, almond, chocolate and nutty flavours together with barrel aged characters combine to give a persistent flavoursome palate.

De Bortoli 'Old Boys' 21 Year Old Tawny is a classic tawny from the producer of some of Australia's premier styles. An array of aromas are on display with dark raisined fruits, mocha, hints of vanilla and nutty aged barrel characters. On the palate the flavours of mocha continue with a richly concentrated texture. A supreme long length leaves you with a smooth and lingering finish.

Highly aromatic, fresh and lively berry fruit supporting the bright sorbet characters. The light sparkle adds lift while the aromatics are balanced with the soft mouth feel, the sweetness smooths out any astringency with fresh spritz and soft acidity. The sorbet lingers in the mouth leaving your palate fresh and alive.

Varietal Composition is 58% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Malbec, 7% Petite Verdot, and 6% Zinfandel. Deep purple-crimson, this is the epitome of full-bodied McLaren Vale shiraz, lusciously rich plum fruit encased in dark chocolate, and a sensual mouthfeel - all of which combine to obscure the alcohol, reducing it to an irrelevant number.

The varietal composition for this vintage is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. It has been aged a total of 24 months in barrel. Enticing aromas of black cherry, red currant and rose petals mingle with sophisticated hints of hazelnut, clove, caramel and fig preserves. A silky palate with juicy layers of plum, tayberry and chocolate-covered blueberries are framed by elegantly structured tannins, with notes of red licorice, mint, maple and sage adding complexity to a long, dynamic finish.

Distilled and aged to demonstrate finesse and delicacy of California brandy. Loads of fruit and varietal grape flavours dominate, with a light balance of butterscotch and vanilla notes recovered from carefully selected barrels used in aging, lightly bodied with a crisp, clean finish.

Charcoal filtered and mellowed in selected American White Oak casks to highlight the delicate grape flavours. The result is a smooth, complex, and aromatic brandy.
