Brilliant, acid-yellow golden colour with green tinges. The nose is reminiscent of Tic-Tac peppermint sweets with hints of anise, juniper and delicate vanilla. The vines are grown on low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, in a cool maritime mesoclimate. The naturally tiny yields of under 30 hl/ha and philosophy of expressing the terroir in the wines- give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. Wonderfully high natural acidity and dense, complex, concentrated fruit flavours. Soft, “sweet” and generally shows hints of that alluring savoury “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume. Like 2009, another excellent vintage.

This 100% Sangiovese wine has been aged 12 months in French oak barrels and barriques, followed by a period of bottle aging. Intense ruby red colour. Fruity bouquet with red berry notes. Very well structured, mellow, long-lasting flavour with smooth, velvety tannins.

Luxardo Espresso Liqueur is a traditional Italian liqueur obtained from a thirty days infusion of a selected variety of fine coffees (Brazil, Columbia, Kenya), with the Arabica type predominating. Enjoy Luxardo Espresso Liqueur either straight up and chilled, or on the rocks.

A variation of the traditional Sambuca dei Cesari Luxardo. It is aromatized with licorice, with a production recipe entailing several levels of successive infusions to blend the different ingredients. The predominant taste is star anise, combined with a new velvety sensation on the palate of lightly spicy hints of cardamom and coriander and an aftertaste dominated by licorice aromas. It is neither an ordinary licorice digestivo nor a commonplace coffee-sambuca.

Malfy Gin Rosa is made with the peel of sun-ripened Sicilian pink grapefruit grown in citrus groves on the Mediterranean. The peels are infused with juniper in an Italian grain spirit for 36 hours. Five other botanicals--lemon peel, grapefruit peel, angelica root, orris root, and coriander are used in its production. This very pale rose tinged gin has aromas and flavours of grapefruit, rhubarb, citrus, anise, and of course juniper.

A very intense ruby red in colour, this vintage shows a nose with captivating notes of ripe fruit (blackberries, plums, and wild cherries) which perfectly reflect the characteristics of the growing season. On the palate the wine is well structured, with supple tannins which are both sweet and rounded; the lengthy finish promises long life and the aftertaste recalls, together, notes of ripe fruit and licorice.
