This Extra-Añejo is made from single-estate agaves which have been matured to 12 years. It has been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 3 years up to 30 years. La Gritona Reposado has rested for 8 months in oak. the taste is herbaceous, with agave notes, and the finish is round with no burn.

Cedar, tobacco and spice hints frame dried cherry, berry and vanilla notes in this silky red. The flavours mingle nicely, framed by juicy acidity and light but firm tannins. The wine has a lovely weightless intensity. A fine example of the traditional style.

Las Lamas comes from 3 plots, between 60 and 100 years, situated on the same estate. The vines grow on steep slopes and on slate soils, cultivated following the principles of Biodynamic agriculture. The winemaking process is carried out in large wooden vats, without large extractions and treading the grapes with a press, allowing them to ferment with native yeasts. The wine is then decanted into French oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then aged.

Garnacha Tintorera is known for its deep colour and here it coats the glass and imparts aromas of brooding black fruits, licorice, expresso and pepper. Dense, savoury and rich.
