This new vintage of our Purple Angel has all of the character and complexity we are accustomed to. With an intense and deep carmine-red colour, the wine delivers a pool of fresh fruit aromas, such as blackberry, blueberry, red plum, and ripe cherry. There are also bakery, candied, and subtle spice notes that mix well with the aromas from the French oak, including balanced toast, vanilla, and mocha. The palate is balanced and vibrant, with complex body and extremely smooth tannins.

This wine is rich tasting with notes of spice and stone fruits and possesses balanced acidity.

Rich fruity and woody, the 2017 Summit (the blend includes: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Malbec) delivers a nose-full of black and blue fruit accented by toasted coconut and coffee bean oak influence, still youthful and not yet firing on all cylinders. The palate is densely packed with flavour - this is high-impact wine to be sure, broad, voluptuous, and ambitiously made. Alcohol is high but integrated, while tannIns are thick and velvety, supported by sufficient acids. This Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful nose with layers of berries, cocoa powder, with hints of clove and spice. The tannins build a nice core structure with a round mouthfeel. Dark fruit, wild berries and cocoa flavours lead to a finish with well-integrated oak.

The Opus One 20I9 has intense aromas of black currant, blueberry, black plum, and dried rose petals, accentuated by mineral undertones. The creamy, satiny texture is framed by fine-grained tannins. The freshness and so glow of acidity create a subtle tension with dark fruit flavors, savory herbs, espresso, and cocoa. A delicate dark chocolate bitterness lingers on the finish.

This release is a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Grenache. Maturation for 8 months in French and American Oak. To the eye, an opaque core with a red amethyst rim. Opening aromas of red raspberry, blackberry, dark plum reserves, alongside wisps of black pepper and cloves. Hefty palate with blueberry, black cherry, thyme, savory and tarragon. The finish is long with ripe tannins.

This Grand Reserve Malbec has a vivid crimson color with light smoky aromas of black fruits and vanilla. The deep structured mouth reveals stone fruits of plums and dark cherries with hints of black peppers and caramel. Chewy tannins support this elegant finish showing a friendly minerality.

This wine showcases aromatics in the form of blackberry jam, fresh mint leaf, black pepper, cooked blueberry, black cherry, sweet tobacco (similar to Oscuro Cigars), ripened plum and blackcurrant, with a subtle undertone of butter, courtesy of malolactic fermentation. Champagne Pol Roger created their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill mindful of the qualities that he sought in his champagne : robustness, a full-bodied character and relative maturity. The exact blend is a closely guarded family secret. Composed exclusively of grapes sourced from Grands Crus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards which were already under vine during Churchill's lifetime. Pinot Noir predominates, providing structure, breadth and robustness whilst Chardonnay contributes elegance, finesse and subtlety. Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is only made in the very best vintages and is always released later than the other vintage dated Champagnes from Pol Roger, marking Churchill's appreciation for older wines.

This cool climate Chardonnay displays beautiful orchard fruit aromas of apples and pears, as well as a buttery, oaky character. It is full bodied and elegant with nice acidity and a dry finish.
