This is a big wine, bursting with red fruit aromas reminiscent of plums and blackberries. It has spent over a year aging in oak barrels, which add vanilla, chocolate and tobacco aromas as well as complexity to the bouquet. A good steak, roast meats such as lamb, pork or beef, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and mild cheeses.

This Cabernet-Bonarda has been selected for its juicy blackcurrant fruit supported by excellent structure that the Bonarda brings to any blend. The Bonarda grapes originate from Italy, but have been successfully transported to Argentina and are in fact used by several wineries in their red wine ranges.
