El Buen Alfarero translates as "the good potter", this artisanal wine is unique and no two bottle are exactly alike as they are dressed by hand. This blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Albillo has been aged for 7 months in earthenware jars called "tinajas", just as it would have been over 100 years ago. It is bright, dark-hued purple-red with intense bluish notes. the nose is bold with outstanding red fruits. In the mouth it is elegant, fresh, and tasty with mineral notes combined with red and dark fruit. Round velvety tannins lead to a soft subtle finish.

Blend of Petit Sirah, Merlot, Zinfandel, and Petit Verdot. Deep plum with scarlet red highlights. Fragrant aromas of cocoa nibs, dark plum, roasted dates, caramel molasses and star anise. Rich and complex with flavours of ripe dark fruits, chicory coffee, blackberry cobbler, and ripe cherry. This pleasant wine has excellent colour, fine grain tannins and beautiful depth, complemented by natural acidity.

It is ruby in colour with ripe red fruit and spicy fragrance. This full bodied wine has smooth tannins and good balance, with a long, fruity and fresh finish. An excellent example of a classic Douro wine.

This Reserva shows a concentrated colour with aromas of ripe black fruit and elegant floral notes in perfect harmony with some toasted from the oak. Well balanced in the mouth, with firm and expressive tannins, well supported by the volume and lively acidity. The finish is long and complex and will develop further with more time in bottle.

Our new “Red Wine of the World”, this red blend is sourced from famed regions of southern Australia, the Barossa Valley, and McLaren Vale. Mostly Shiraz with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon, Transit 1 is bold yet nuanced, featuring scents of smoky meat, chocolate, and wet soil. A hint of mint on the palate.

During the winter, Valpolicella wine (made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes) is passed over the skins remaining from the production of Amarone using the traditional “Ripasso” technique, which increases the alcohol, body and perfumes of the wine. Aged in oak, this wine is dry and full-bodied with a complex perfume of cherries, red fruits and spices.

The grapes are grown in poor, gravel soils at the foothills of the Andes Mountains and produce a wine that reflects the true expression of Maipo Valley. The nose is predominated by red fruits such as raspberries and cherries. There are also some spicy notes from barrel aging that adds complexity to the wine. Deep ruby in colour, extremely well balanced, full and rich with intense aromas, presenting racy fruit and elegant tannins in the mouth. The wine will evolve to its full maturity in bottle over the next two decades, rounding out with elegant aromas and flavours, growing in concentration.

Bright garnet colour with violet hues; aromas of black pepper, red cherries and hints of cedar.. On the palate great fruit concentration with fine grained tannins and notes of vanilla and cedar.

Predominate grapes in this blend are Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella.  Notes of fruit in balance with spice and vanilla.

SEGHESIO SONOMA ZINFANDEL

Fully ripe grapes with 10% botrytis were selectively hand-picked in early November, preceded by a “green Harvest” in mid-September. Fermentation with grapes' own “wild” yeast in a stainless-steel tank took 9 months. Very concentrated golden fruits and honey notes; very elegant. Ageing potential of 30+ years.

Sena was created as a joint-venture between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi back in 1995, with the dream of making a wine that would show Chile’s full potential. The blend is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes. Aging has occurred in 85% New French oak barrels and the balance in Foudres. Deep red colour leads to a nose that reveals floral notes alongside red and black fruits. There are many layers to this wine in the taste profile, consisting of cedar wood, tobacco and bitter chocolate.

Colour is deep red with purple hues. The bouquet is intense and persistent, fine, slightly spicy. The palate is dry, warm, soft, quite tannic, and tasty.

This wine is 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot sourced from vines 15-30 years of age. It takes its name from Marquis Mazzei's distinguished ancestor Ser Lapo, who is credited with authoring the first official mention of Chianti, on Dec. 16, 1398. It's fresh and structured, with dark cherry, blackberry, smoke and earth notes. A wine of depth and complexity that will cellar for a decade or more.

This ruby coloured wine has aromas of ripe black fruit accompanied by notes of chocolate and spices. Full-bodied and enduring, it is balanced on the palate and invites a long, harmonious and spicy finish.

"Medium garnet coloured … a nose of white peppered raspberries, kirsch and stewed tea with hints of preserved orange peel and dusty earth. Full-bodied with tons of peppered red berry flavour layers in the mouth… refreshing acidity and a low to medium level of silky tannins, finishing long.”

Deep garnet-purple in colour. Notes of blackcurrant cordial, blueberry preserves and spearmint with touches of eucalyptus and espresso. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, it has a lively acidic backbone and a medium level of fine-grained tannins finishing with lingering minted berry notes.

Intense, deep ruby colour. The nose is packed with jammy red and black fruit aromas, such as redcurrant and blackcurrant as well as eucalyptus, with notes of chocolate and cedar. On the palate, delicious flavours of black cherries with very soft tannins that give the wine elegance and finesse. Very long finish of chocolate with notes of tobacco leaf.

A blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. A vibrant red colour with aromas of gooseberries, black plums and mustard seeds. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant with well integrated tannins.

Stainless steel aged in the presence of oak. Pomegranate notes, with tart cherry, cranberry sauce and baking spice.

The Ripasso Acinatico is obtained from the Valpolicella Classico way via re-fermentation and a second maceration over grape skins that are still mildly sweet of Amorone and Recioto, thereby enriching the body and colour of the wine. Intense yet subtle nose of spices and vanilla. The warm, full-bodied palate with traces of mature, dried fruits, spices and tobacco is reminiscent of an Amarone.

This classically-styled Cabernet Sauvignon was made with grapes grown in select vineyards from Central and North Coast California. Ruby red in color with aromas of black currant, cherry, and toasted vanilla. On the palate fresh blackberry, caramel, a hint of coffee, and delicate tannins.

Green apple, baked pear, and nutmeg aromas on the nose. On the palate tropical fruit, butterscotch, and toasty oak spice flavours. The mouthfeel is rich and rounded with a long finish and layered acidity.

With fragrant aromas of red fruit, cedar and spice cake, our Cabernet Sauvignon shows the elegant, complex character of Napa Valley in an approachable and enjoyable wine. The palate evolves from bright red currants to dark cherry pie and blackberry jam, accented by pepper and clove spices. Pleasant floral notes join dark chocolaty tannins across the finish and into a lingering finale. Pair with grilled meats, charcuteries or tomato based pasta.

Fresh citrus blossom, pineapple, passionfruit, and hints of melon. This follows through to a weighty palate with honeydew melon, grapefruit, and nuances of lime meat. This wine has a natural weight and concentration that lingers on the palate before finishing with a crisp citrus twist.

A precise seven-barrel blend yields intriguing citrus, green apple and pineapple with butter, honey, lavender and vanilla nuances. The palate has nice weight, yet balanced by lovely cool-climate acidity and seamless oak integration. Yeasty, bready, toasty flavours are felt onto a long, warm finish.

Vivid red/purple in colour with an expansive nose of blackberries, blood plums and chocolatey oak. The palate is opulent and inviting with dark plum and blackcurrant fruit flavours matched by dried herbs, cloves and subtle spicy oak. Fine-grained savoury tannins provide definition to the impressively long finish.

This blend is a combination of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, Malbec, and Pinot Noir grapes. This vintage was aged 21 months in a combination of French, American, and Hungarian oak. Deep garnet colour with aromas of tobacco, baking spice, and cassis. On the palate are flavours of blackberry, dark cherry, ripe plum, and pomegranate. It has a full structure with plush tannins and a lengthy finish.

Great black fruit quality on the stylish nose which displays inky notes, a discreet herbal and mineral character and hints of liquorice. Beautifully complex, fine and elegant bouquet. Wonderful velvety texture on the rich, concentrated and weighty palate which delivers heaps of flavour leading into a long finish crammed with sumptuous dark chocolate and liquorice.

Opaque, purple black colour with a narrow violet rim. Characteristically stylish and racy, with a nose of dense blackcurrant and woodland fruit overlaid with discreet herbal nuances and scents of violet and rose petals. As usual the classic Taylor elegance and understatement conceal the wine’s energy and vigour. On the palate it displays the lean, sinewy and tightly knit tannins which are so much a feature of the Taylor style and the vibrant and clearly delineated fruit flavours and which are the hallmark of the 2007 vintage.

Pale brick colour with broad amber rim. Mellow nose of succulent ripe berry fruit with aromas of butterscotch, figs and prunes interwoven with attractive nutty and spicy aromas. Smooth and round on the palate, full of rich strawberry jam flavours.
